Where to cowork in Edmonton: Homestead, URBN and The Workup

Homestead Coworking

Homestead publishes a half-day pass at 15 CAD plus GST for a 3.5-hour block, mornings or afternoons on weekdays, and a full-day pass at 25 CAD plus GST. A community membership costs 60 CAD a month, a flex membership with two weeks of business-hours drop-in 175 CAD a month, and unlimited 24/7 access 325 CAD a month.

URBN Cowork

URBN's Side Hustle membership costs 150 CAD a month for weekday evenings after 5pm and weekends. A 24/7 flex desk costs 250 CAD a month, dedicated desks start from 450 CAD a month and private offices from 1,100 CAD a month, with meeting room credits of 40 to 280 CAD built into plans. Prices exclude GST.

The Workup

The Workup prices its Flex Space Select from 95 CAD a month for one day a week, 195 CAD for three days a week and 295 CAD for five days a week. An unlimited plan starts from 395 CAD a month and a private office costs 1,265 CAD a month.

Choose your first visit

For a day, Homestead's 25 CAD full-day pass is the only published drop-in rate, with a 15 CAD half-day for short visits. For evenings and weekends, URBN's 150 CAD Side Hustle is the cheapest recurring plan. For full-time, compare URBN's 250 CAD flex desk with The Workup's 295 CAD five-day plan and Homestead's 325 CAD unlimited.

Read the fine print

Homestead and URBN both quote excluding GST, so add five percent before comparing with The Workup. Homestead's half-day runs in fixed 8:30 to 12:00 or 1:00 to 4:30 blocks. URBN's Side Hustle excludes weekday business hours entirely - it is an evenings-and-weekends product, not a cheap full-time desk.
