Coworking day passes: what to check before you book
Compare access hours, calls, desk availability and the full cost of a coworking day pass.

Start with the work you need to do
A quiet writing day, back-to-back video calls and a team workday need different spaces. Write down your must-haves before comparing rates: a desk, a place to take calls, reliable internet, power and the hours you need. A day pass label alone does not tell you whether those are included.
Ask whether your pass reserves a desk or only gives access to a shared area. If you need a monitor, ergonomic chair or a particular setup, get that confirmed before you arrive.
Check the actual access window
Opening hours and day-pass hours may be different. Ask when a visitor can enter, whether staff need to let you in and whether leaving for lunch ends your access. Check weekend and holiday arrangements directly with the venue.
If you arrive early or work late, ask what happens outside staffed hours. Do not assume that a venue advertising 24/7 access extends it to day-pass visitors.
Separate desk time from meeting space
Check whether calls are allowed at the desk and whether phone booths can be reserved. A booth may suit one call but not a client meeting. Ask about time limits, availability and any separate room charge.
For a team, confirm that you can sit together. Buying several individual passes does not necessarily reserve adjoining desks.
Compare the full price
Ask for the currency, tax treatment and any required fees. Check whether coffee, printing, storage or meeting-room credits are included, optional or charged separately. Confirm cancellation and no-show terms before paying.
A low headline rate is not enough to compare two passes. Compare the same access duration and the services you will actually use. Keep the venue confirmation with your booking details.
Use the directory as a starting point
Browse the city, open the venue page and check the listed source and date where available. Missing prices mean we do not have a rate to show, not that entry is free. Confirm current terms with the venue before travelling.
