Where to cowork in Cairo: pick your side of the city first

Compare Downtown, Maadi, New Cairo, 6th of October City and Sheikh Zayed using exact branch names from official operator pages, plus what to confirm before you pay.

Official location pages from MQR Spaces, Kamelizer Spaces and MSpace checked on 27 October 2026. This is a location-planning guide built from published branch information, not a best-space ranking, a visit report or a commute-time survey. We have not visited or tested these spaces. Confirm access, the exact branch and the desk product with the operator before paying.

Start with your side of the city

Cairo's coworking branches cluster in three zones that function almost as separate markets: central Cairo (Downtown and Maadi), the eastern new cities (New Cairo and New Heliopolis), and the western cities (6th of October and Sheikh Zayed). Crossing between them is a real journey, so the useful question is not which brand is best but which cluster matches where you live and who you meet. All three operators in this guide publish their branches openly, which lets you compare exact named locations rather than marketing areas.

Central Cairo: Downtown and Maadi

MQR lists three central branches: Downtown - The GrEEK Campus, Downtown - Nile City Towers, and Maadi - Eco Building. MSpace lists a World Trade Center branch, a New Maadi branch and a Sheraton 41 branch in the central and eastern central area. If your meetings are in the historic business core or along the Corniche, these keep you out of the new-city commute.

East: New Cairo and New Heliopolis

New Cairo is the densest cluster. MQR lists New Cairo - Al Rehab Park 15 and Alburouj - New Heliopolis. Kamelizer lists two New Cairo branches: The Drive by Waterway, and District 5 in the MINDHAUS Campus by Marakez, which Kamelizer describes as 8 minutes from the 90 Street business district. MSpace lists New Cairo, 90th (marked active on its branches page) and New Cairo, Zizinia. If your work sits along 90 Street or in the Fifth Settlement, shortlist here first.

West: 6th of October City and Sheikh Zayed

MQR lists three western branches: October - Melanite Mall, Zayed - Eden Mall and Zayed - Al Rabwa. Kamelizer's western branch is Majarrah, Block 12, along the 26th of July Corridor in Sheikh Zayed City, which Kamelizer describes as 5 minutes from Mall of Arabia and 2 minutes from Arkan Plaza. MSpace lists an El Sheikh Zayed branch. For teams based in the western cities, these avoid the eastbound commute entirely.

One membership, several branches?

Kamelizer states “One membership. Access every location.” on its site, covering its New Cairo and Sheikh Zayed branches. MQR and MSpace do not state cross-branch access on the pages checked, so do not assume a membership at one branch opens the others; ask before you rely on it. MSpace also publishes its working hours on the branches page: Sunday to Thursday 8 AM to 10 PM, closed Fridays and public holidays.

Before you pay

Branches are not interchangeable desks: a shared-space seat, a private office and a meeting room at the same branch are different products with different access rules. Confirm the exact branch, the product, the opening hours and whether your plan covers other branches, in writing. The directory is a starting point, not proof of current availability or owner approval.
