Coworking costs in Alexandria: what operators publish, product by product

Day passes: 120 to 210 EGP

Three operators publish a day rate. Pivot's shared space costs 120 LE per day. The Circle sells a Shared Space Day Pass at 200 EGP through its booking page, at either the Kafr Abdo villa or the Roushdy headquarters. Workstation's full day is 210 EGP, with shorter options: 100 EGP for three hours from 6 PM, 120 EGP for four hours, and 150 EGP for a Friday. For a one-off day the spread is modest; the differences show up in hours and location rather than price.

Monthly desks: 1,650 to 5,800 EGP

For regulars, monthly pricing splits by desk type. Pivot's dedicated desk starts at 1,650 LE per month. Workstation's individual membership is 2,300 EGP per month, with business desks at 3,000 EGP for one person, 4,600 EGP for two and 5,800 EGP for four. Workstation also sells a one-week pass at 1,000 EGP. Against stacked day passes, Workstation's individual membership breaks even at roughly eleven full days a month.

Rooms by the hour: 250 to 290 EGP

Workstation publishes room rates: meeting rooms at 250 EGP per hour (Room A up to ten people, Room B up to six), training rooms at 290 EGP per hour for up to 25 or 30 participants, and an online-meeting room for one or two people at 150 EGP per hour. Pivot's conference and event rooms are quoted on request. The Circle sells meeting rooms by the hour through its booking flow.

Virtual offices and the unpublished tier

Pivot's virtual office starts at 7,000 LE per month. Espaces publishes no prices at all - its Alexandria branch (12 furnished offices, three meeting rooms, a training room) quotes through its branch team on WhatsApp - and The Circle publishes only its day pass, with dedicated desks and private offices unpriced on the page. Any comparison for private offices in Alexandria happens after a conversation, not from a rate card.

What the headline price leaves out

Tax is the first gap: none of the pages checked states whether VAT is included, and Egypt levies 14% VAT, so the quoted figures may not be the invoice figures. The second is the word "start": Pivot's dedicated desk and virtual office prices are floors. The third is term: the pages do not state minimum contracts, deposits or notice periods for monthly products.

Before you pay

Get the VAT-inclusive monthly figure for the exact branch and desk type in writing. If you will work two or more days a week, compare a monthly membership against stacked day passes before assuming daily is cheaper. Ask what meeting-room hours and printing cost on top. The directory is a starting point, not proof of current availability or owner approval.
