Where to cowork in Alexandria: local operators along the coast

Operator sources checked 2026-10-28 - the short answer, district by district. Not a visit report or a quality ranking.

The short answer

Alexandria's coworking scene is local, compact and strung along the coastal corridor east of the centre. Four operators publish detailed offerings: Workstation (10+ years, 10,000+ members served), The Circle in Kafr Abdo and Roushdy, Pivot in Louran, and Espaces in Sporting. The practical decision is which eastern district puts you closest to home or clients, because all four sit within a few kilometres of each other along the same corridor.

Kafr Abdo and Roushdy: The Circle's two houses

The Circle runs two locations. Kafr Abdo is a standalone early-1900s villa (Villa 15, Ali Zou El Fekar Street) with a private garden workspace and 24/7 access. Roushdy is the headquarters, at 15 Syria Street, first floor, in a busier business district close to transport. Both offer private offices, dedicated desks, shared spaces, meeting rooms and virtual office services.

Louran: Pivot above the Houria Road strip

Pivot sits on the 8th floor at 696 El Houria Street in Louran, above B-Tech. It publishes private offices in different capacities, shared space on daily or monthly terms, conference and event rooms, and a virtual office. Its amenity list includes a prayer room, break area and kitchen lounge, with listed opening hours of 9:00am to midnight.

Sporting: Espaces inside Safwa El Mostakbal Tower

Espaces runs a single Alexandria branch at Safwa El Mostakbal Tower, 215 Port Said Street in Sporting: 12 furnished private offices, three meeting rooms, a training room and a virtual office service. It publishes the longest daily hours of the group - 8:30am to 11pm, seven days a week - and handles pricing by direct enquiry rather than a public rate card.

Workstation: the veteran, near the centre

Workstation describes itself as built for people who take their work seriously: an open coworking area, meeting rooms for 8-12 people, training rooms for 15-25, and private lockable offices. It publishes 10+ years in operation, 10,000+ members served and 200+ companies, 300 Mbps fiber internet, and opens Saturday-Thursday 9am-11pm plus Friday 2pm-10pm - one of the few operators anywhere publishing Friday hours.

Before you shortlist

Published details change, so confirm live availability at the exact branch before signing. If you work Fridays or late evenings, hours differ sharply between operators - Espaces opens daily to 11pm, The Circle lists 24/7 access at Kafr Abdo, Pivot lists 9am-midnight, and Workstation publishes a shorter Friday. None of the pages checked states parking except Workstation (free parking with rooms). The directory is a starting point, not proof of current availability or owner approval.
